Congress takes out law-breaking movement in Siliguri against corruption of BJP and Trinamool

West Bengal Pradesh Congress organised a law breaking agitation against the corruption and mismanagement of the BJP and Trinamool, in front of the office of Siliguri Mahakma Shaasak. On behalf of the organization, a Padyatra was taken out from under the Mahananda Bridge first located at Air view Mod.

State Congress President Somen Mitra, Deepa Das Munshi, MP Pradip Bhattacharya, opposition party leader Abdul Mannan, State Congress Executive President Shankar Malakar and other dignitaries were present in the Padyatra.

The said Padyatra was completed after reaching the office of the Mahakma Shaasak. After this there was a meeting of the Darjeeling District Committee and the Congress leaders.

Later, a rally was held on behalf of West Bengal Pradesh Congress from Siliguri Junction. The rally reached the Mahakma Shaasak’s office and Congress leaders and activists there organized a law-breaking agitation.

Congress leader-activists attempted to break the barricade of the police and tried to enter the office of the Mahakma Shaasak. In this incident, there was a scuffle between the Congress workers and the Police.

After this, the police arrested around 2,500 activists. However, they were later released on the private band.
