West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will be visiting North Bengal on a four- day tour to celebrate her victory and to commemorate the people of the hills for their support.
She will be arriving today at Bagdogra International Airport to attend the public meeting scheduled in Mirik. Sources confirm that MLA’s Aroop Biswas and Sourav Chakraborty have already reached the sub-division. The CM would be attending a lavish celebration in Mirik along with the Tourism Minister, Goutam Deb. She will also be announcing the upcoming projects and schemes planned by the Government for the welfare of the citizens.
After the public meeting, she will head towards Darjeeling where a ministerial meeting has been scheduled for 8th June. According to sources, the CM will return to Kolkata on the 9th of June.
