Child Protection Week was celebrated under the aegis of Cooch Behar District Administration with the help of the West Bengal Child Rights Protection Commission. Today, the concluding program of Child Protection Week was held in Cooch Behar Lansdowne Hall.
In the program, Coochbehar District Additional Superintendent of Police Pallava Kumar Ghosh, Arindam Bhattacharya were present mainly along with other dignitaries. Apart from them, along with the students of the blind schools, members of various non-governmental organizations, were also present in the program.
District Child Protection Officer Snehshish Chaudhary said that on the eve of Children's Day which was on 14th November, the Child Protection Week was inaugurated by the District Magistrate. A tabloid was issued that day, through which awareness was spread about child protection by visiting all the offices of the district. The same program was concluded today.
