Darjeeling, 13th July
Many students from different areas in Darjeeling district face problems during admissions and also receive no government stipends and other facilities because of their caste certificate not being allotted to them. The Backward Classes Welfare Department under the Rangli-Rangliot block in Darjeeling has organised a Certificate Distribution Programme keeping the needs of the students in mind. According to the information received from the B.C.W. official, Ms. Fermu Dolma Lepcha, a Certificate Distribution Programme will be held on this upcoming 15th July in Gale Bhanjyang Community Hall and on the upcoming 19th July in a community hall near Lamata High School under Rangli-Rangliot block. The B.C.W. official Ms. Lepcha has informed that students from classes five to students pursuing PhD will be able to benefit from this programme.
