Siliguri, 20th August (Bappa Ghosh): The family members of the patients of North Bengal Medical College-Hospital complained to Kaushik Samajdar, the Superintendent of NBMCH that the cases of brokers are on a rise at the hospital.
Allegedly, the patients of the blood department have to stand in long queues every morning for getting their number cards. They also complained that after providing 50-70 cards, they jump to the 200th card directly. They believe that the brokers are involved in booking the cards in between.
Samajdar stated that such cases are not likely to happen at the hospital. However, he assured that proper action would be taken after proper investigation.
