Body of missing former soldier found in pond in Coochbehar

On Saturday morning, the body of a ex-soldier was recovered in Rajmata Dighi of 7 number ward of Coochbehar. The name of the deceased has been stated as Ashish Chakraborty (52). He was a resident of the Shivyagya area of ​​Cooch Behar. At present, he was living in Badur Bengal area of ​​Cooch Behar.

From the South Ghats of Rajmata Dighi, his aadhar card and electricity bill paper have been recovered. On receiving information about this incident, Kotwali Police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to MJN Hospital in Cooch Behar for post-mortem.

According to family members of the deceased, Ashish Chakraborty was missing on Friday morning and his mobile was also switched off. After failing to trace him in spite of searching him in many places, the families had lodged a missing report in Kotwali police station in the evening. The police is investigating the entire incident.
