BJP's strategize to end the growing confusion of NRC in Bengal

Siliguri, 18th October: Amid the growing confusion and fear of the NRC being implemented in Bengal like in Assam, the BJP has taken a major strategy to eliminate the fear of non-Muslim refugees. According to the information received, the women's unit of the party has been meeting people of all communities of refugees. According to Locket Chatterjee, the saffron party's West Bengal Mahila Morcha President, the Chief Minister and her government are spreading delusions among people of Bengal regarding the NRC. Chatterjee further accused the Bengal government of making false claims like the NRC is being implemented in Bengal to chase non-Muslim refugees, from Bangladesh and other countries, away from India.

Chatterjee further maintained that members of the BJP Mahila Morcha will meet non-Muslim refugees living across the state and assure them regarding the NRC from November 1 onwards. She also said that a memorandum will be presented to the Prime Minister regarding the safety of non-Muslim refugees.

An atmosphere of terror has engulfed the entire state ever since words about the NRC being implemented in West Bengal spread like wildfire. Due to this, the people in various places of the state, including Kolkata, are starting to mobilize people to get their citizenship certificates.
