On the first day of the Secondary Examination -2019, on Tuesday, a protest was held on behalf of Siliguri organizational BJP Yuva Morcha at Hashmi Chowk for leaking the Secondary examination papers. Mamta Banerjee was criticized and the Education Minister, Partha Chatterjee, was asked her to resign his post in protest of the incident of paper leak on behalf of the Yuva Morcha in the evening.
Because of the BJP’s protest, the traffic system was completely stalled, after which Siliguri Police reached the spot after getting information about the protest and took around 15 BJP workers protesting into their custody.
Saurabh Sarkar, General Secretary of Siliguri organizing BJP Yuva Morcha, held Education Minister Partha Chatterjee and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee responsible for the incident of paper leak. He also demanded a fair trial of the paper leak incident of the secondary examination and a severe punishment for the culprits through this protest.
