The Chairman of the newly formed Board of Administrators, Binay Tamang, said that he was happy with way he was welcomed in Kalimpong by the public.
“The welcoming was not for me, it was for Gorkhaland,” said Binay Tamang, the ousted leader of the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha.
The Chairman of the BoA also said that the people of Kalimpong and Darjeeling have had to face a lot of hardships. He said, “I came to Kalimpong so that the public does not feel low-spirited.”
Binay Tamang also said that after Diwali, he would be holding public meetings in six different places where he would be speaking about the Gorkhaland movement and the various activities of the party.
“It is because of the wrong approaches of Bimal Gurung and Roshan Giri that the movement did not yield any result so far. Whatever I am doing now, I am doing it while keeping the public in mind,” said Binay Tamang.
