The body of an adult male leopard has been recovered from the 27 number section of the Rydak tea plantation. On Friday, the plantation workers saw the body of the leopard.
After this the information was given to the forest department. On receiving the news, Forest workers reached the spot and recovered the body. The forest department’s primary estimation is that the leopard must have died due to old age.
The body has been sent to Raja Bhatkawa Nature Supervision Center for post-mortem.
