57 crores of rupees collected from ticket less passengers in 1 year

On April 1, 2018-19 fiscal year has been completed. Northeast Frontier Railway has collected a fine of Rs. 57 crores from passengers travelling without ticket in the last financial year.


The amount collected includes the non-booked materials as well. In the last financial year, a penalty of Rs 46.17 crore was imposed by Northeast Frontier Railway.

This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of the Northeast Frontier Railway, Pranav Jyoti Sharma, through a press release.
