40 turtles recovered from Farakka Express at Malda Town Station, two arrested

A team of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Central Investigation Branch (CIB) recovered 40 turtles from the S-3 coach of Farakka Express in the Malda Town Station, based on the news received from secret sources. Two persons have been arrested in this connection. 20 bags were recovered from both of them, which had 40 turtles in it. Every turtle weighed about 10 to 15 kg.

According to information received from the RPF and CIB team sources, the names of the arrested persons have been identified as Raju (25) and Babu (40). Both of them are residents of Sultanganj district of Uttar Pradesh. On Wednesday, these people were handed over to the Malda District Forest Department along with the turtles.
