12 Cattle Animals Seized Near Indo-Nepal Border, One Arrested

One man was arrested by the soldiers of SSB’s 19th Battalion C Company Dangujot with 12 cattle animals that had been smuggled from Nepal. 

According to reports, the soldiers were led by ASI Lalit Mohan of 19th Battalion C Company Dangujot’s Bhatgaon BOP when they arrested the accused, Ashraf Mohd. Ali.

ASI Lalit Mohan shared that Ashraf was caught during patrolling from the area near Pillar 100/14. The 12 livestock animals that have been seized hold a market value of around Rs. 40,000. 

The seized animals and Ashraf are now in the custody of the Custom Department.
