Rajganj, 20th September: Sensation prevailed in the area after the body of an unidentified woman was found in the Fulbari Teesta Canal. This morning the local people spotted the body at No. 06 lock gate of Teesta Canal in Fulbari Kadambari area.
Reportedly, the locals had gone for a morning walk when they saw the dead body in Teesta Canal. They informed the police of New Jalpaiguri police station
On receiving the news, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem. Police have started investigation of the entire incident.
